Housing Access Support is a private rented accommodation referral service for single homeless people over 35 and in receipt of Universal Credit. We work in joint partnership with private Landlords to provide you a choice of pre-selected self contained private rented accommodaiton in various locations across London.

Housing Access Support can assist non priority single people who are currently in receipt of Universal Credit in need of housing assistance may approach or be referred to the service for assistance. We offer support on renting privately and explain the service to those who are eligible. They will then be referred to the Landlord who will arrange viewing of pre selected accommodation. Landlords who work with us will notify us when a property becomes available, and often require our assistance in finding a suitable tenant. Once accepted, prospective tenants will be referred to and liase with the Landlord who will ensure suitability and confirm acceptance.  If so, they will refer you back to us to complete the required  paperwork, once completed, we will arrange with the Landlord a Tenancy sign up date for you to complete and sign the remaining paperwork.

Housing Access Support understands that sometimes, not having an address could create a barrier to opportunities. Being in receipt of Universal Credit or Housing Benefit could create a barrier to access private rented accommodation. Housing Access Support is a private rented access service that supports single homeless people into sustainable tenancies in the private rented sector.  We believe that those in receipt of benefits still deserve the benefit of a place to call home.
